## Card code redemption fails

- Card codes are case-sensitive. Don't copy extra spaces or line breaks.
- Each card code can be redeemed only once.
- Relay card codes are redeemed at [2api.dev/redeem](https://2api.dev/redeem). Redemption codes for ChatGPT top-up must be used at [cz.2api.dev](https://cz.2api.dev). The two are not interchangeable.

## You have quota, but calls return an error

Billing follows the key's group. **The group must match what you redeemed:**

- If you redeemed a **monthly card**: create the key in the group the card belongs to. A monthly card group only uses the card's quota and never charges your balance. If you use this group without an active monthly card, you get `No active subscription found for this group`. If the card has expired, you get `subscription has expired`.
- If you redeemed **balance**: create the key in a group that is charged by balance (`GPT 纯血Pro 余额分组` for GPT, `CC-Max` for Claude). If the balance is too low, you get `Insufficient account balance`.

My Subscriptions (我的订阅) shows the group name for your monthly card. If you chose the wrong group, change it in the API Keys (API 密钥) list. You don't need to delete the key.

## When the daily quota resets

- A monthly card's daily quota is counted by calendar day. It resets at 00:00 Beijing time (UTC+8) every day. It is not 24 hours from your first use. Unused quota does not carry over.
- Weekly and monthly quotas are rolling windows of 7 and 30 days, counted from the moment the card is activated. The exact reset time is shown in My Subscriptions.
- When you use up the day's quota, you get `daily usage limit exceeded`. Wait until the next day, or switch to balance.

## Can one key use both GPT and Claude?

No. Each key belongs to one group, and a group only covers one kind of model. If you need both, create two keys.

## Messages about an expired key or a used-up limit

You may see `API key 已过期` (API key expired), `日限额已用完` (daily limit used up) or `额度已用完` (quota used up). These are limits you set on the key yourself: expiry time, total quota, 5-hour / 1-day / 7-day limits and an IP allowlist. They don't mean your account is out of money. Edit the key in API Keys and change or clear the limits.

## Messages about a disabled group or no group

You may see `API Key 所属分组已停用` (the key's group is disabled) or `尚未分配分组` (no group assigned). The key's group is no longer available, or no group was chosen when the key was created. In API Keys, give the key a group that is available.

## What to do if a key leaks

Disable or delete the key in API Keys right away. Then create a new key and replace the old one in each of your tools.
