# Other clients

## 404, or /v1/v1 in the address

The client adds `/v1` itself, and you wrote it as well. Check the table for your tool:

| Tool | Base URL |
| --- | --- |
| Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Anthropic SDK | `https://2api.dev` |
| Codex | `https://2api.dev/v1` |
| OpenAI SDK, OpenClaw, ClawX, Cursor | `https://2api.dev/v1` |
| Cherry Studio | `https://2api.dev` |

Don't end the address with paths such as `/chat/completions` or `/messages`.

## Cherry Studio fails to fetch the model list

- Enter only `https://2api.dev` as the API Host. Check that the preview below the box is `.../v1/chat/completions`.
- If the list can't be loaded, click Add and enter the model name by hand.
- Use a key from a GPT group and set the provider type to OpenAI.

## Error "only allows Claude Code clients" or "Client not allowed"

This group only allows official clients (Claude Code or Codex). Third-party clients such as Cherry Studio and Cursor are rejected. Use it in an official client. To use GPT in a third-party client, use a key from a GPT group. If Codex itself is rejected (`codex_version_too_low`), upgrade Codex.

## How to connect Cursor

See [Other OpenAI-compatible clients](https://docs.2api.dev/en/clients/openai-compatible/#cursor). To use GPT in Cursor, installing the [Codex extension](https://docs.2api.dev/en/clients/codex-ide/) is the better choice.

## CC Switch import does nothing

Clicking Import to CCS (导入到 CCS) does nothing when CC Switch isn't installed on this computer, or when the browser hasn't been allowed to open `ccswitch://` links. First check that CC Switch starts normally, then click import again. When the browser shows a prompt, choose Allow.

## CC Switch changes don't take effect, or plugin and MCP settings are gone

See [Import with CC Switch](https://docs.2api.dev/en/cc-switch/#common-issues).

## magpie test returns 503 or 502

- 503 saying only Claude Code clients are allowed: this is a group restriction. Real use in Claude Code is not affected.
- 502: usually your proxy software is intercepting local addresses. Add direct rules for `127.0.0.0/8` and `::1`.
- For more, see the [magpie notes](https://docs.2api.dev/en/magpie/#notes).

## Claude Desktop can't find the third-party inference entry

First check that you turned on `Help → Troubleshooting → Enable Developer Mode`, then look for `Developer → Configure third-party inference`. If it is still missing, your version or account environment doesn't support it. Use Claude Code for now. For more cases, see [Claude Desktop](https://docs.2api.dev/en/clients/claude-desktop/#common-issues).
